Fatal Canal St Avalanche
Shot of Canal on way to Fig day after avalanche, you can see debris in center of photo. I usually ski through "gautlet" above N. Bowl on my way to Canal, and enter near those 4 conifers lined up center right - that area didn't slide. Skiers caught in slide may have went skiers right, upon entrance and that would have put them under the cornice where avalanche started.
