Taylor Mtn Avalanche
Taken by Jackson Hole News & Guide - Jan. 15, 2020 - luckly no one was caught in this massive avalanche that ran to the valley floor. Sadly on April 1, 2020 a 28 year old snow boarder died in an avalanche on this same south aspect. On the day of the accident, avalanche conditions were rated "moderate". Though the victim was wearing a avalanche beacon, it was in the off mode.
